Well, I'm back at home. I was just in Ottawa for a meeting and was gone from Monday to this afternoon. Fast trip - you don't even get used to the time change and you're headed back home!
While I was there, I got myself a new pair of ballot slipper-esque shoes that are soooooo comfy and well worth the $27.99 that they were on sale for. How lucky that the only pair of shoes I liked at Payless were on sale! ;) Woohoo!
Well, back to work tomorrow for a couple days and then we get a weekend. I can't wait to spend 2 whole days with my boys. I missed them both terribly these past 2 nights (especially Kane!!!)
I suppose I should probably also start thinking about Thanksgiving dinner. Matthew and Dayna are coming over for turkey, but I forget what night! Better find out and then go on a hunt for a turkey and the fixings. Let's hope the stores are stocked this year and we aren't searching fervently for poultry seasoning the day before our dinner again. Hmmm, wonder if my guest list should be rounded out with more people, I'll wait for Brian to make that decision I think.
Anyway, I'm wiped out and headed to the couch for a bit before I start on dinner - hoping Kane will be content to cuddle with mom for a bit and watch Dora - I need some Kane-cuddles!
