Well, we survived the long weekend. We left on Saturday and headed up to Salmon Arm to visit Jeannine and Dave for the night. It was an awesome visit. We always seem rushed when we go visit because we are headed somewhere - next visit we are taking a couple days to stay and maybe even get a chance to explore Salmon Arm a little more.
On Sunday, we headed into Kelowna. Mina and Jens were our 'hotel' managers for the next 2 nights. ;) David and Shannon and the girls were in town from Calgary, so we visited with them, and saw Rob and Logan who were also visiting from Calgary. So we got lots of visiting done from one town in 2 days!
Kane did really well, the last night at Mina's he was horrible though. Couldn't fall asleep. Turns out the poor little dude was back to teething AGAIN! We gave him some Tylenol once we clued in and he was asleep right away. The first night back at home he needed a bit of Tylenol as well and a dab of Orajel. Now tonight we are good to go without any meds. You can tell he's not quite himself yet though; still a little restless at bedtime, but tonight he fell asleep after I put him to bed in about 10 mins or so. I waited an extra few minutes before checking on him in case he wasn't asleep yet and me opening the door would make him think he didn't need to fall asleep.
I have so much housework to do and no enthusiasm for it at all. It's Brian's 31st birthday on Saturday and I decided to have a dinner party for him. So I invited a bunch of people over. So far I think I have 8 confirmed and another 5-6 maybe's. Eeeeekkkk,so I have to do some house chores.
